Sinopse
ACCIDENTAL DEATH OF AN ANARCHIST é uma sátira política de Dario Fo e Franca Rame, escrita em 1970. Nesta produção original da Lisbon Players, as personagens cômicas de Fo são interpretadas por mulheres. A peça, baseada em eventos reais, centra-se numa impostora astuta que se infiltra numa esquadra de polícia em Milão para descobrir a verdade por trás da morte suspeita de um anarquista durante um interrogatório. Através de uma série de disfarces e de uma sagacidade afiada, os absurdos e as contradições dentro da força policial são expostos, desafiando o público a refletir sobre a natureza da verdade e da justiça numa sociedade corrupta tudo isto enquanto se diverte bastante. Accidental Death of an Anarchist is a political satire by Dario Fo and Franca Rame, written in 1970. In this original Lisbon Players production, the comical characters are played by women. The play, based on real events, centers on a cunning impostor who infiltrates a police station in Milan to uncover the truth behind the suspicious death of an anarchist during an interrogation. Through a series of disguises and sharp wit, the absurdities and contradictions within the police force are laid bare, challenging the audience to reflect on the nature of truth and justice in a corrupt society - all while having a good laugh.
